Engr. Yulo E. Perez graduated from the University of the Philippines (UP) and has 37 years of successful experience in Mining where he rose from Junior Mining Engineer to President and CEO of several Mining Companies.

Prior to his appointment as President and CEO of Marcventures Mining and Development Corporation, he served as the President and CEO of Silangan Mindanao Mining Company, Inc.(SMMCI) in Surigao del Norte which is a 100.0% owned Subsidiary of Philex Mining. He was also former Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of TVi Resources Development and TVI Resources, Inc. – both Subsidiaries of a Canadian Mining Company.

Most importantly he spent 11 years with PT INCO Indonesia which is the Largest Nickel Laterite Operation in the World with Annual Production of Ore and Smelting of 155.0 Million WMT.

PT INCO is owned 58.0% by VALE INCO of Brazil (one of the biggest Mining Cos. in the World) and 20.0% by Sumitomo Metal Mining of Japan.

His accomplishments span the Development of Mining Properties to Planning, Design, Engineering, to Construction & Commissioning, onto Commercial Operations and General  Mining Company Management.
