Education

For Marcventures Mining and Development Corporation, education is a vital cog in any development program; the most critical enabler toward upward socio-economic mobility. No country, community or organization can achieve sustainable growth without substantial investment in human capital. It is education that enriches people’s understanding of themselves and their changing world.

Consequently, MMDC has supported both supply and demand side educational interventions such as the establishment of school buildings; provision of instructional tools, equipment and facilities; as well as funding of various school events and activities, with large portion of the fund devoted to scholarship grants for deserving students of Carrascal, Cantilan and Madrid.

With an average spend of P6.5 million per year for its scholarship program, MMDC endeavors to motivate the youth to pursue education as their empowering tool for a sustainable future.
