HRAD Manager

 Job Knowledge and Experience:

  • With Bachelor’s/College degree in Psychology, Behavioural Science, Human Resource Management, and Political Science, Law or any related course or equivalent experience and training.
  • 5 to 10 years of managerial level human resource experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of human resource practices, applicable rules and regulations, labor, employment, human rights and privacy jurisprudence.
  • Has depth knowledge in MS Office and Intranet/Internet tools.
  • Advanced analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proven and exemplary leadership skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Human Resources

  • The position is accountable for the Human Resources and Administrative programs and systems that encourage maximum contribution and availability of the company’s human resources. 
  • Oversee and improve on the HR areas of organizational structure, employment, compensation, employee data base maintenance, benefits administration, employee relations, policy/procedure development, performance management.
  • Manage recruitment and selection process including postings, screening and selection.
  • Oversee HR programs and practices that support retention and engagement of required workforce.
  • Manage full range of training and performance management programs and systems so that employees are able to effectively perform duties.
  • Participate in organization wide development and succession management programs.
  • Administer conflict resolution and make appropriate recommendations to the General Manager.
  • Manage the HRAD Department within costs and report monthly cost to budget as well as conduct an annual budget for the department.
  • Lead performance management and talent assessment.

 

Administration

  • Extend administrative support to other departments
  • Develop budget recommendations for operating expenditures and capital outlay.
  • Execute plans, policies and programs

 

INTERNAL AUDITOR

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Assists the Senior Auditor in developing and improving audit processes, programs and schedules.
  2. Supports the Senior Auditor on the audit project preparations, planning, scheduling and work assignments.
  3. Conducts onsite operational and financial audits and compliance checking as well as assists in conducting investigation.
  4. Drafts initial audit reports for review of the Senior Auditor.
  5. Implements audit objectives, strategies, programs and procedures for specific audit assignments.
  6. Leads the team in the preparation of audit working papers in accordance with the professional standards in order to provide adequate documentation for audit findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
  7. Analyzes and evaluates all departments’ documentation, reports, data and flowcharts.
  8. Contributes and provides inputs to the development of the annual audit plan.
  9. Ensures completeness of files and maintains records and prepare correspondence related to the work.
  10. Ensures confidentiality of information acquired while performing the audit function.
  11. Prepares other tasks and reports as maybe required from time to time.

Qualifications

  1. Must be a Certified Public Accountant.
  2. Preferably with at least 5 years of experience as Auditor specializing in Finance and Operations Audit/Taxation or equivalent.
  3. Working knowledge about information Systems and MS office applications.
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Can deal with people at all levels.
  6. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  7. High level of professional integrity and commitment to quality output.
  8. Willing to travel locally.

TECHNICAL AUDITOR

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Assists the Internal Auditor Head in developing and improving audit processes, programs and schedules relative to mining operations, environmental management, mine rehabilitation, safety and other mining related activities and projects.
  2. Lead audit team and manage technical audit activities including personnel and resources.
  3. Prepares and lead and support the internal audit team on the technical audit project preparations, planning, scheduling and work assignments.
  4. Conducts onsite operational, environmental and safety audits and compliance checking as well as assist in conducting investigation and preparation of audit reports.
  5. Assists in implementing audit objectives, strategies, programs and procedures for specific audit assignments in all areas related to operational, safety, environmental, rehabilitation, community relations and other areas to ensure efficient, continues safe operations.
  6. Prepares audit working papers in accordance with the professional standards in order to provide adequate documentation for audit findings, conclusions and recommendations.
  7. Obtains, analyze and evaluates all departments’ documentation, reports, data and flowcharts.
  8. Contributes and provides inputs to the development of the annual audit plan.
  9. Ensures confidentiality of information acquired while performing audit function.

Qualifications

  1. Must be a Licensed Mining Engineer.
  2. Preferably with at least 5 years of experience as Mining Engineer specializing in literate Mining Geology or equivalent.
  3. Working knowledge about the mine plan interpretations, geology, assay laboratory and ore sampling.
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Can deal with people at all levels.
  6. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  7. High level of professional integrity and commitment to quality output.
  8. Willing to travel locally.

 

Sr. Legal Counsel

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate must possess at least Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Law.
  • At least 8 Years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Member of the Philippine Bar. 
  • Exposure in the areas of corporate governance, litigation and general compliance.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and/or heavy volume environment
  • Willing to travel

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct legal research on laws, rules and regulations affecting the operations of the company.
  • Draft and/or review contracts, agreements and other legal documents of the company, its subsidiaries and affiliates.
  • Render legal opinions on the business of the Company, its subsidiaries and affiliates
  • Assist in corporate secretarial matters, drafting and review of minutes of the meeting , board resolution, secretary's  certificate etc., assist in corporate housekeeping matter and ensure that the necessary filings are in good order
  • Prepare execution copies of all contracts involving the company.
  • Review all cases involving the company, study suitable courses of actions, or defenses.
  • Prepare pleadings for all cases involving the company.
  • File all pleading/position papers of all cases.
  • Assist in contract negotiation.
  • Ensure compliance by the company of all laws, rules and regulations.
  • Represent the company in legal hearings/meetings, whenever necessary.
  • Perform other duties/functions that may be delegated from time to time. 

 

Corporate Planning

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Governance of corporate planning processes including the development, implementation, communication and management of standards and best practices;
    • Develop and maintain the strategic and corporate workplan;
    • Monitor the operational execution of the strategic and corporate workplan;
    • Tracks and reviews KPI’s, goals and objectives of the strategic and corporate workplan;
    • Deploy and maintain dashboard of Key data;
    • Research, investigate, and recommend new system and process improvements;
    • Actively identify both internal and external stakeholders and seeks to understand and address their needs with effective and appropriate solutions;
    • Participate in project evaluation of all functional areas across the Company; 
    • Support the budget and cost management processes as required.
    • Performs other duties as determined by the VP for Legal and Corporate Planning.

      QUALIFICATIONS:

      • Minimum of five (5) to (8) years’ experience as Corporate Planning Associate or Officer, Investor Relations Associate or Officer, or similar position.
      • Knowledgeable in valuation methodologies and financial models;
      • Excellent analytical, drafting and problem solving skills with exceptional attention to detail;
      • Initiative, ability to work independently, set priorities and perform under pressure with accuracy and dedication;
      • Experience and ability to coordinate multi-dimensional, multi-disciplinary projects;
      • Ability to establish positive working relationships and credibility at various levels, internally and externally;
      • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to explain complex ideas in a simple, clear, concise manner;
      • Strong service orientation and excellent organizational and follow-up skills and ability to maintain business relationships;
      • Excellent communication skills (written, spoken, graphic)
      • Chinese / Mandarin speaking would be an asset
