MMDC Bags Health Safety And Environment Awards

Marcventures Mining and Development Corporation (MMDC) has received recognitions for its best practices in health, safety and environment, and for the company's commendable Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. No less than Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) Caraga Regional Director Roger de Dios handed the Health and Safety award to MMDC for reaching 12.8 Million Man Hours Without Lost Time Accident, as well as for being an Active Emergency Responder after the magnitude 6.7 earthquake that hit Surigao City earlier this year. MMDC was also recognized for being the first mining company in the Caraga Region to use steel sheet piles to stabilize its causeway area.
