Best Practices of Marcventures Mining and Development Corporation

The response of Marcventures Mining and Development Corporation (MMDC) to the enhanced community quarantine was among the business cases featured in Employers Confederation of the Philippines’ (ECOP) “Series on Good Business Practices.”

 

Entitled “Best Practices of Marcventures Mining and Development Corporation,” through the series, ECOP aims to strengthen the business community by promoting models of corporate programs during the crisis. It aspires to encourage companies to emulate policies and to look after the welfare of employees during the quarantine.

 

In response to the growing threat of Covid 19, MMDC addressed the 4Ps of its operations: People, Processes, Protocols and commitment to being of service within the communities and Public locales it operates in.

MMDC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Marcventures Holdings Inc. It operates a nickel mine in the municipalities of Cantilan, Carascal and Madrid. It is an export-oriented business and is allowed to operate during the enhanced quarantine period.
